Indiana Chapter*
* we do not ship dogs, but if you are willing to travel to meet one of our dogs fostered in another state, then you are welcome to apply for adoption. With the increased cost of travel, GLWR will do what we can to make it easy for potential adaptors to meet dogs.
HoochHowdy from Hooch! Do I have a great name, or what?
I'm a 3-year-old mouse grey boy and am told I'm very handsome, about 75 pounds and have nice, clean features. All that and a cool name to boot!
My first Mom loved me a lot, but wasn't good at providing me with structure (whatever that is!), so I was allowed to jump, get on the coffee table, etc. I personally don't see what the big deal is, but I'm learning that most people like 75-pound boys to keep all four feet on the floor. I can be crated if necessary, but will bark just a little to let you know that I'm not happy. I was allowed to free roam in my former home, but the nice people at Great Lakes don't recommend it until I learn more manners. It's all part of learning to behave like a gentleman I'm told and I have to earn the right to be loose when alone in the house.
I LOVE to give kisses and cuddle – who wouldn't want a smooch from Hooch??? I'm also good around small dogs and ride wonderfully in the car. It's probably best if I'm in a home without cats. They also think I could be an only dog or join a family with multiple dogs.
I've got lots of love to give and things to learn, so let's get started!
XOXOXO Hooch
